We probably won’t see Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce make their red carpet debut at the Golden Globes
Fans probably won’t see Travis Kelce with Taylor Swift at the Golden Globes.
Taylor Swift is expected to attend the 81st Golden Globes on Sunday — and many fans are hoping that she will be joined by her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
Swift, 34, is said to be attending the ceremony as her movie, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” is nominated in the newly-created category of cinematic and box office achievement, alongside the likes of “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer.”
The concert movie set a new box-office record on its opening weekend and made $250 million globally, so it seems very possible that Swift could end the night on a high.
However, one thing you shouldn’t bet on is seeing Kelce there with her.

While the Kansas City Chiefs tight end will be in Los Angeles on Sunday, it doesn’t seem likely that he will stop by the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where the Golden Globes are taking place.
Instead, the NFL star will be at SoFi Stadium, where he is set to take on the Los Angeles Chargers.
Kickoff for the game is 1:25 p.m. PT/ 4:25 p.m. ET, while the Golden Globes pre-show and red carpet arrivals will start from 3:30 p.m. PT/ 6:30 p.m. ET, per Variety.
As a result, Swift also likely won’t be able to cheer Kelce on from the stands, as she has at many of his games this season.

There is, of course, always a chance Kelce could join Swift at a Golden Globes after-party. However, unnamed sources told Page Six that Kelce was scheduled to board a flight to Kansas City after the game.
At the 2020 Golden Globes Awards, Swift made one of her rare photographed appearances with her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn, whom she split from in early 2023 after six years of dating.
The couple chose to walk the red carpet separately but sat together for the ceremony, where Swift was nominated for best original song for “Beautiful Ghosts,” which featured in the 2019 movie “Cats,” and Alwyn supported his latest movie, “Harriet,” which was up for two awards.
Swift’s nomination at this year’s awards marks her fifth Golden Globe nod and her first outside of the best original song category.
