Swift and Travis’ families have already approved of their relationship, that they spend time with each other when they have the chance. For instance, Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, joined them when they celebrated the singer’s birthday.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s brother, Jason, has also shown his stamp of approval several times.

Does Travis Kelce’s Family Disapprove of His Relationship?

According to a source, Swift and Travis’ relationship received backlash from his family members as they reportedly fear the “Lavender Haze” singer is not the right one for him.

The unnamed Life & Style source mentioned Donna, who – at first – reportedly did not look thrilled about his son’s romance with Swift. The media outlet cited an example, mentioning the matriarch’s interview on “Today,” during which she just responded, “it was ok.”

It is worth noting that she clarified her reaction as she did not want to sound too enthusiastic about Travis’ new relationship.

Meanwhile, Jason expressed his happiness over his brother’s new romance. At the same time, he also said he was concerned for Travis’ safety because of Swift’s level of stardom.

“There are fears that they won’t survive the separation,” the source went on.

This, however, should be taken with a grain of salt as Travis’ family has shown nothing but support for them over the past weeks.
