The Los Angeles Lakers have had a mediocre season so far, as they fell under .500 with a 19-20 record after a 109-127 loss against the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night, with especially LeBron James having an underwhelming performance.

LeBron James recorded just 10 points with 9 assists and 5 rebounds during the loss vs Phoenix, raising questions about whether the oldest active player in the NBA is starting to fall behind and the game is finally taking a toll on his body.

LeBron’s words about his fitness

However, King James talked to the media after the game and stated that he feels just fine and the loss was just because the Suns were a better team than the Lakers last night.

I feel okay. Mentally, it’s just another game. They played exceptionally well. We didn’t

Specifically, during the last game, LeBron looked bad, shot 3-10 from the field, and recorded a +/- of -25, his worts of the season.

However, LeBron has looked healthy during the season up until this point, as he has averages of 25.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game on 52.6% field goal percentage.

Obviously, James is far from the level he displayed during his prime.

However, he is still one of the league’s best and most consistent players at 39 years old.
