The NBA veteran LeBron James’ team faces a tough time with consecutive losses. As LeBron’s men faced the Minnesota Timberwolves, his team had already faced three straight losses. The 38-year-old star himself is not at the peak of his fitness. He recently talked about how being on the road drains energy from the Lakers.
But the star who prioritizes family over the sport loves to find joy in little things. As his wife Savannah James received a gift from American products manufacturer Beats By Dre, it would have brought a smile to LeBron’s face.
LeBron James’ wife gets a beautiful gift
Savannah uploaded the video on her Instagram story where she unboxed the gift – the headphones she received – and wrote, “Thank you Beats @bydre fam. The collab is fire.” She added a fire emoji to her words at the end.
LeBron endorses the brand and so has his wife and kids. They consider it as an extension of the family. LeBron James signed with the brand in 2008. His son, Bronny James, was signed by the company in 2022 as “the first high school athlete in the roster.”
His wife and kids too became a part of the Beats By Dre family. The ad campaign, “King and the Viking”, showcased the personal connections of the star. James was asked about the most important person in his life. He named Savannah James. Erling Halaand, the Norwegian soccer sensation, was a part of the video. He named his father Alfie, a former footballer, as the most important person in his life.
The kids of James too participated in the video-Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri. The little Zhuri even put the crown on the head of LeBron, suggesting he continues to be the “King James” in basketball.
The partnership with the brand has been a masterstroke by the basketball veteran and he has spoken in the past about how deeply he values the partnership.
James’s partnership with Dr.Dre
The brand was acquired by Apple for a whopping $3 billion. When LeBron played for the Miami Heat, he struck a deal with the brand for $30 million. James got a small stake in it for promotion. His former teammate Kendrick Perkins revealed that LeBron made $700 million as a silent investor in the company. He called him the chosen one for his successful business ventures.
For LeBron, the brand has been like a family. He has highly spoken about it in the past. In the words of LeBron, “It’s a pretty special thing to see how this partnership has grown with our family over the years. It’s a blessing for me to share the stage with them and with a brand that’s been part of our lives since we started this journey. Family means everything to me!”
