Bronny James continues to take firm steps to finish his adaptation to NCAA college basketball once and for all; LeBron James’ eldest son still has a minutes restriction, but despite this he continues to take advantage of every second he is given on the playing field.
In his most recent game against the Oregon State Beavers, his team, USC Trojas University, was defeated 86-70.
Bronny undoubtedly excelled and passed with flying colors in a very difficult game for the Trojans; 15 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists and 1 block in a total of 20 minutes of play coming off the bench, being James’ best game in his rookie season in the NCAA.
This comes after returning to play with a medical clearance on December 11. It must be remembered that Bronny suffered cardiac arrest in the summer in the middle of a practice with the team and at the time there were fears for his life.
This great performance was the perfect gift for LeBron James who turned 39 years old and who has always closely followed the sports career not only of Bronny but also of the youngest of the boys, Bryce who lives in High School.
LeBron did not wait to comment on social media about his thoughts on the great game that his son Bronny played.
“His rhythm is starting to recover after the drop. Great performance tonight young King. And still with a minutes restriction,” The King celebrated.

Bronny, 19 years old and projected in the top-10 of the 2024 draft before suffering the aforementioned cardiac arrest, a total of 7 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1 steal per game in 16 minutes on average in court, also with 46% in field goals and 33% in triples in the five games he has played.
USC rookie guard Bronny James is one of the most hyped prospects in the upcoming 2024 NBA draft. It is a fact that cardiac arrest has made LeBron’s heir practically disappear from the Mocking Draft, but this may improve once Bronny proves to be fully healthy, continue to improve his numbers and almost certainly last at least one more season in the NCAA.
Bronny, of course, is the son of NBA great LeBron James, so he has the pedigree to be an NBA player, but scouts will surely take a close look at his athletic development, but especially his heart health. Bronny to avoid any risk.
So far the most that Bronny James can project is a late first round or almost certainly a second round, but this would not be something positive and attractive for someone like Bronny who has the potential to at least be a top 20 in the first round, But he must first demonstrate that he is fit for NCAA basketball and consequently to perform at a more than optimal level for an NBA franchise.
The USC Trojans’ next game will be on January 3 when they must face the University of California Golden Bears who have a record of 4 wins, 9 losses overall and no wins and two losses in their conference.
On the part of Bronny James’ squad, the Trojans so far have a record of 6 wins, 7 games lost and share the same numbers in their respective conference with those of California.
