LeBron James’ Dunk Is Going Viral In Lakers-Bulls Game
On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers are in Chicago, facing off against the Bulls at the United Center.
During the first half, LeBron James had an exciting play that is getting a lot of attention on social media.
James brought the ball up the court and drove straight to the basket, where he threw down a one-handed slam dunk.
James will turn 39 later this month but still remains among the ten best players in the NBA.
He came into the evening with averages of 25.2 points, 7.6 rebounds, 7.2 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 53.9% from the field and 39.3% from the three-point range in 25 games.
The Lakers are the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 15-12 record in their first 27 games.
They are 5-5 over their last ten games and in the middle of a two-game losing streak.
Most recently, the Lakers lost to the New York Knicks (at home) by a score of 114-109.
In 39 minutes of playing time, James had 25 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists and one steal while shooting 10/23 from the field and 2/8 from the three-point range.
The Lakers are on the first night of a back-to-back, as they will visit Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center on Thursday.
James is in his 21st season in the NBA and his sixth playing for the Lakers.
He has led the franchise to the playoffs three times, and they won the 2020 NBA Championship over the Miami Heat.
