2024 Starts With a Decline for LeBron James’ Millionaire Sons As Both Bronny and Bryce See a Drop in NIL Value
LeBron James has had one of the greatest careers in basketball history. Due to that, the expectations of the fans from his kids are on another level, and to some extent, his sons are able to live up to their hype.
The Akron Hammer’s eldest son, Bronny James, is currently the highest-valued college basketball player as per On3 valuation. His younger son, Bryce James, has been performing very well and at the mere age of 16 is 6-foot-5 inches.
Both the athletes possess the advantage of being sons of one of the greatest players in the sport as well as added pressure due to their father’s achievements in the sport of basketball.
However, as the New Year started, Bronny and Bryce saw a minor drop in the Name, Image, and Likeness valuation.
Why is the NIL valuation for Bronny & Bryce on a decline?
Bryce James earned a major NIL deal with Klutch Sports in December 2022. As a result, according to On3 NIL ranking, he is the number 1 rank in high school basketball.
However, as he chose to leave Notre Dame, his value dropped. He also failed to make the Top 25 High-School Players list, thus lowering his NIL worth in total by $1.3K. While the drop in value may look slight, it actually brings his NIL worth down to $1.2 Million.

Due to that, he was out of action for nearly 5 months, which took a hit on his valuation by almost $2k and left his NIL valuation at $5.9 million. Thankfully, after a lot of surgeries and treatments, the Trojans’ guard is completely fit and even made his comeback onto the court.
How have the two been performing on court recently?
Bryce James contributed 12 points to the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers’ 92-46 victory over the Burroughs Bears. Sierra now has an overall record of 11 wins and 1 loss and extended their home winning streak.
Meanwhile, Bronny James has started his first year with the USC Trojans and is getting limited playing time summer hospitalization for a heart ailment. However, after playing just 3 matches, he has averaged 5.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 1.0 steals.
Bryce and Bronny James have both made a name for themselves with Bryce leading his team to a high school title and Bronny overcoming his health issues and making a comeback for the USC Trojans.
The NBA world is very excited to see whether the James brothers’ careers will pan out like their fathers or if they will always remain in the shadow of the 4x NBA champion, King James.
