GloRilla hails from Memphis, Tennessee, and is a musical talent who rose to fame in 2022.
Her real name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods, and she is a Grammy-nominated artist after being up for Best Rap Performance at last year’s Awards.
The hit rapper appeared at the All-Star festivities over the weekend in Indianapolis, and she bumped into Lillard during the event.
Earlier Monday morning, GloRilla shared a photo of herself and Lillard after the All-Star game posing for the picture.
However, she didn’t share the photo as a fan; instead, she used the opportunity to take her shot at Lillard.
She asked her followers, “Who [man] dis is? Cause I want him.”
Followed by a slightly more stern message: “Whoever she is can’t whoop me, so I really dgaf,” GloRilla wrote.
Social media followers quickly pointed out that Lillard recently divorced his longtime partner.
Lilliard filed for divorce from his spouse Kay’la in October of 2023, just a week after being traded for the first time in his career.
The 8-time NBA All-Star spent his first 11 seasons in the NBA with Portland after the franchise drafted him in the 2012 draft from Weber State.
Kay’la and Lillard had been together since college, as the two attended the same Utah-based university and officially tied the knot in 2021.
2021.
According to the filing, the two separated for “irreconcilable differences.”
It’s also reported those differences “caused the irremediable breakdown of their marriage,” per Willamette Week.
The two also share three young children together.
Lillard put on a show in Sunday’s All-Star Game, scoring 39 points on 11 three-pointers made in the Eastern Conference’s 211-186 victory over the West.
The Bucks come out of All-Star break with the third-best record in the East at 35-21, but after firing their coach and hiring Doc Rivers, the team is 3-7 in their last ten games.
