Lillard appeared at an Adidas event during the NBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis.
He was interviewed by TikTok social media influencer ‘Nelsontheprodigy_’ who asked Lillard to “create his own starting five.”
“It would be me, Lebron, Steph, Kevin Durant.
“And I’m gonna go with Bam Adebayo,” Lillard said.
NBA fans stormed the post’s comment section, with many pointing out that Lillard left his teammate, the “Greek Freak, “off his list.
“How is Giannis, his own teammate, not on his team?” this fan stated.
“Dame wanted to be in Miami so bad,” another said.
“Bro said bam instead of his own teammate Giannis,” a third was in shock.
“His heart is in Miami for real,” a fourth expressed.
“Aight, Dame, know your limits. Just cause you won in the Allstar doesn’t make you him. Don’t disrespect Giannis like that,” a fifth shared.
Lillard was traded to the Bucks this offseason after spending his first 11 seasons in the NBA with Portland after the franchise drafted him in the 2012 draft from Weber State.
In his first season with the Bucks, Lillard is averaging 24.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 6.7 assists, while Antetokounmpo is putting up a stellar 30.8 points and 11.2 rebounds a game.
Lillard also put on a show in his first appearance on the Eastern Conference All-Star team on Sunday, scoring 39 points on 11 three-pointers made in the East 211-186 victory over the West.
The Bucks come out of the All-Star break with the third-best record in the East at 35-21, but after firing their coach and hiring Doc Rivers, the team is 3-7 in their last ten games.
