Ishq Vishk Rebound star Jibraan Khan shared a sweet anecdote about working with Kareena Kapoor Khan in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
ibraan Khan, our beloved boy from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham is all grown up now! The actor, who played Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s son in the Karan Johar film, is all set to debut as a leading star in Ishq Vishk Rebound. While we are excited to see what he has in store for everyone, he took a trip down memory lane in an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha and spoke about filming his monologue with Kareena Kapoor in K3G.
For the unversed, Jibraan delivered a moving monologue in the second half of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The scene, that came immediately after the chilling National Anthem scene, featured Jibraan delivering an inspirational speech. However, the scene was not easy to shoot. The actor exclusively told us that he had to do the scene a few times and Kareena had his back throughout.
“I think Kareena is one of the sweetest co-stars to ever work with and back then I was just a baby. I had this a tooth cap that kept falling in the scene right after we sang the National Anthem. My cap kept falling. I remember we were freezing in the evening and they had to go on to a very important scene which was the Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan bench scene,” he recalled.
“My cap kept falling and they kept rushing me. I had to say that big monologue so I remember there came a moment where she said, ‘Guys, calm down, let the kid get his time.’ And she was so nice to me like she kept doing the scene with me with the same intensity and it is just amazing. There’s a reason why these guys are superstars. They are so professional and they are so nice work with,” Jibraan revealed.
Meanwhile, Jibraan will be seen in Ishq Vishk Rebound this weekend. The actor shares the screen with Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, and Naila Grrewal. The actor plays Rohit’s best friend in the film and has been showing off his dance moves in the trailer and music videos.
