Simon Cowell has reportedly netted a massive £50million-a-year pay day thanks to the global success of his TV empire.

The music mogul, 64, has earned almost £1million a week, according to accounts filed by Syco Holdings – the firm he uses to manage Britain’s Got Talent.

Figures submitted to Companies House showed a £21.9million pre-tax profit on a £32.6million turnover in the year leading up to March, according to The Mirror.

Half was said to have come from the US, while there was £7.1million from the UK and £8.9million from the rest of the world.

Simon, who has been the controlling interest in the firm since 2022, could reportedly pay himself £50million.

The former X Factor judge was also said to have done a deal for an investment bank to buy bonds backed by his TV franchises.

They are said to be shown in the newly-filed accounts as £93million in bank loans ‘secured by fixed charges over the intangible Got Talent TV format’.

Simon has overhauled his hectic lifestyle after working on shows such as The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, which have demanding schedules, for years.

The entrepreneur recently revealed the rules he now sticks to for a perfect work-life balance.

He has cut back on his working hours to spend more time with his partner Lauren Silverman and their son Eric, 10.

He also now maintains a four-day week as he believes working on a Friday is ‘just pointless’.

He told The Sun: ‘Actually, the first thing (I do) is take off Fridays. Don’t work on Fridays, because you don’t have to.

‘Eat dinner at five o ‘clock. Don’t take calls after 5.30. Don’t read emails after 5.30. Watch a happy movie. And stay outside. I’m not kidding about the Fridays.

‘I don’t think anyone should be working five days a week. It’s just pointless.’

Simon welcomed his son Eric in 2014 with his fiancée Lauren, 46, who he is set to marry after he left behind his bachelor lifestyle to walk down the aisle.

Simon proposed to Lauren on Christmas Eve in Barbados with their son present, and it was previously claimed the couple are keen to have Eric ‘front and centre’ at the ceremony.

American socialite Lauren also has son Adam, 16, from her previous relationship with businessman Andrew Silverman.
