Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are the toast of Bollywood currently after accepting that the two are in relationship, there has been a lot of love for them as a couple on social media.

They broke the internet recently after being clicked at Karan Johar’s house with none other than Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh who just got married.

Later Alia and Deepika revealed on Koffee With Karan that there is NO awkwardness between the two simply because everyone has moved on and is happy in each other’s space. Since Deepika and Ranbir are on such excellent terms and have also done movies together post break up, it was expected of them to attend DeepVeer’s Mumbai reception but surprisingly, they did not make it. Moreover, Alia Bhatt too has worked with Ranveer Singh in their upcoming Gully Boy. The Paps were ready to shoot Ranbir Kapoor entering the venue with his current girlfriend Alia; to attend his ex’s wedding. Alas, they were disappointed.

 

 

Katrina Kaif was there, but not Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. The real reason being that Alia and Ranbir were working back to back in a 20 hour long shoot for Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra on Saturday and so could not make it to the grand party hosted by Deepika and Ranveer for their Bollywood friends.

At the reception, DeepVeer looked beyond GORGEOUS as they grooved all night with their friends from the industry. Amitabh Bachchan danced on his hit numbers with Ranveer, Shah Rukh Khan and Malaika Arora created their iconic Chaiyya Chaiyya with Ranveer cheering them on. Deepika too was seen dancing and pulling an all-nighter.  Ranveer will return to work soon after his gala wedding hoopla. He will promote Simmba and head to honeymoon only after the film releases on December 28.
