In an interview, Ranbir Kapoor opened up about the insecurities in his life and admitted to being an insecure partner in the past.
Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot with his ladylove, Alia Bhatt, in April 2023. They are blessed with a daughter, Raha Kapoor, who has been ruling the internet with her cuteness. The couple introduced their baby girl on Christmas 2023, after which they have been freely taking her everywhere they go. Ranbir is not just a loving husband to Alia but also a caring father to their daughter, Raha.
Ranbir Kapoor reveals his insecurities as an actor
Recently, Ranbir Kapoor sat for an interview on Nikhil Kamath’s podcast and opened up about his personal life. During the conversation, the host shared his opinion on insecurity and revealed how he believes it to be conducive. He further asked Ranbir what he is the most insecure about currently. To this, the actor shared that it has been a long time that he has felt that way and said:
“See I’m not insecure about my work. I do have a lot of faith in my art. It’s been a while since I’ve been insecure.”
Ranbir Kapoor admits he was insecure in the past
Speaking along the same lines, Ranbir shared that he is a secure partner and doesn’t feel insecure if Alia romances with a male actor in a film. However, he admitted that he would have felt insecure if something like that had happened ten years back. Adding that he has understood life a bit, Ranbir mentioned:
“I don’t, like feel insecure if I see Alia romancing another guy on screen. Maybe like ten years back, I would feel that. But I’ve grown up, I’ve understood life a bit.”
Alia Bhatt revealed what she learnt from Ranbir Kapoor
Earlier, in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Alia Bhatt talked about the things that she learnt from Ranbir Kapoor over the course of their relationship and mentioned how she and her husband deal with failure and success differently. She said that she is more contemplative and a bit of an overthinker, whereas he prefers to move on from his failures quickly. Alia added that both of them choose to focus on work with a lot of love and immense respect and treat their profession as a very important part of their life, but not the whole of their life.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s second anniversary
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor celebrated their second wedding anniversary on April 14, 2024. Taking to her IG handle, Alia dropped two adorable photos to mark the special day. The first photo showed Alia dressed in a pretty outfit featuring a floral-patterned lacy strap, while Ranbir looked dapper in a black-hued tuxedo and a white shirt. In the next photo, we could see the popular comic characters, ‘Carl’ and ‘Ellie’ from the 2009 Disney film, Up, dancing in joy on their balcony. Alongside it, Alia penned:
“Happy 2, here’s to us my love… today & many many years from today.”
