Mariah Carey recently experienced a range of emotions during the Hawaii stop of her Butterfly World Tour. However, now she’s gearing up to spread some holiday cheer and discussing it with our correspondent, Denny Directo.
As Carey prepares to take her Christmas Extravaganza on the road, she describes her upcoming Christmas tour with one word: festive. The holiday-themed concert will also feature some of her non-holiday records, offering a mix-and-match experience for the audience.
Mariah’s live holiday show is set to kick off on November 15th in California, and she’ll be accompanied by her 12-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe. While the twins may not be concerned about perfect lighting for their TikToks, Carey admits that she’s the one who pays attention to such details.
When asked about what she gifts her loved ones for Christmas, Carey emphasizes that it’s the thought that counts, though she wouldn’t mind receiving handmade gifts herself. As for her fans, she hints at potentially gifting them new music in the future, as she’s been working on about 10 new songs.
Regarding rumors of joining Usher at the Super Bowl on February 11th, Carey mentions that there’s been no outreach from Usher’s end. She expresses admiration for Usher’s talent and clarifies that it’s not about conquering anything but rather appreciating the opportunity to collaborate with someone like him.
