Despite being famously known for his rather “Nasty” comments and remarks on popular talent shows like American Idol, X Factor, and America’s Got Talent Simon Cowell is constantly making waves in the entertainment industry. Cowell has built an entire career on grooming many musicians like the now-dissolved One Direction Band.

However, there have been times when Cowell has been moved to exhibit his emotional side and this has incredibly epoched since his fatherhood journey. Metro has it that Cowell couldn’t hold back his tears when he saw the music video for The X Factor: Celebrity Acts’ charity single in 2019. The emotional moment came as the children from Demelza Hospices performed the cover of Snow Patrol’s “Run.”

Host Dermot O’Leary asked Cowell for his thoughts on the single, knowing how much the charities meant to him. Overwhelmed with emotion, Simon broke down in tears, his girlfriend had to even intervene with a comforting hug.
