The band will hit the road again in March 2024
Westlife has announced dates for a major US and Canada tour – as Mark Feehily confirms his return to the band.
The band will hit the road to Toronto on March 13, Boston on March 14, New York on March 16 and Chicago on March 18 for the first time next year.
Sharing a photo of the dates, they wrote: “FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, we’re performing live in North America! We’re bringing Westlife: The Hits Tour – A St. Patrick’s Day Special to Toronto, Boston, New York, and Chicago in March 2024. Tickets are available Friday at 10am local time!
“We’re also over the moon to announce that we’ll be making our American TV debut on Monday, August 21 on Good Morning America.
“North America, we can’t wait to see you! It’s gonna be EPIC.”

They have been dropping hints about a possible US tour for quite a while, but the biggest clue came this weekend, when every member posted on social media with an image containing the American and Canadian flags.
Meanwhile, singer Mark announced his return to the band after months battling a mysterious illness.

Mark was first struck down with pneumonia before Christmas last year, but just before he was to take to the stage after making a recovery from the illness, the dad-of-one found out he needed to have surgery.
Mark announced back in May that he had to miss concerts in May, June and July as he had a surgery scheduled.
He shared a statement saying: “There is nothing to worry about I promise, but under doctor’s orders this surgery needs to happen sooner rather than later and will also require some recovery time throughout the summer.”
It’s not known what the treatment was for, but the Sligo native took to social media to tell fans he’s finally fit to return to the group.
Sharing a photo of himself with a Canadian and American flag filter, Mark simply said “So so excited!!!! It’s my comeback haha #westlife.”
