This is the shocking moment Rihanna is caught on camera appearing to hit a fan in the face with her microphone.

The singer can be seen walking in front of the crowd as she performed a concert in Birmingham when the incident occurred.

It’s claimed the 25-year-old lost control and retaliated by striking the unidentified person in the face after the fan grabbed her arm.

A witness said on Twitter: “[Rihanna] just hit someone with her mic on accident haha oops.”

To which Rihanna replied: “Purpose! That bitch won’t let me go.”

A fan reacted: “How can you hit a fan that was excited too see you? Don’t go too the crowd if you don’t expect too be grabbed fans made you.”

Another mocked her violent reaction by comparing her to Beyoncé – who was spanked by an intrusive fan last month.

Rihanna was also accused of turning up TWO HOURS late to the show on Monday evening – after a night partying with model of the moment Cara Delevingne.

Diamonds singer Ri-Ri, who still wowed crowds at the LG arena left her army of devoted fans waiting until after 10pm, Radar Online reported.

She will perform tomorrow night in Sunderland’s Stadium of Light, before returning to Manchester for two shows on the 15th and 16th of June.
