His claims come on the same day Britney’s father Jamie alleged that the singer’s personal conservator Jodi Montgomery considered placing her under a 5150 psychiatric hold just last month, in new court documents.

‘She’s being looked at with a microscope,’ he told TMZ on Friday. ‘She’s a parent, she’s a mom, she’s in a unique situation.’
He added that Britney needs ‘to be smart’ and ‘diligent’ as she fights for her freedom after living under a conservatorship for more than a decade.
‘She’s a smart young lady. She’s grown up in this business, it’s tough. It’s tough to be in this business for this long,’ he commended.

Last week, she raised eyebrows for posting multiple topless photos as well as a story about getting locked in her bathroom at 2 in the morning.
On Thursday, she revealed she got her first iPad after years of restricted internet use and phone access.
‘This is just a groundbreaking day,’ she raved in a since-deleted video.

In legal documents, obtained by DailyMail.com, Britney’s father opposed another motion for him to be removed as her conservator, claiming she is so ‘mentally impaired’ they considered putting her under a psychiatric hold in July.
Jamie revealed Britney’s personal conservator told him last month that his pop star daughter was mentally ill, said many of Britney’s claims about her conservatorship were untrue, and recommended putting her under a 5150 psychiatric hold.
A 5150 hold involuntarily detains an adult for psychiatric evaluation, typically for 72 hours.
This is the latest in the 13-year long conservatorship and Britney’s recent fight to take back control of her life and her $60million fortune.

According to the documents filed today in Los Angeles, Jamie claims last month he received a phone call from Britney’s personal conservator Jodi Montgomery.
Montgomery was appointed Britney’s temporary conservator in September 2019.

‘During our call, Ms. Montgomery sounded very distraught and expressed how concerned she was about my daughters’ recent behavior and overall mental health,’ Jamie says.
‘Ms. Montgomery explained that my daughter was not timely or properly taking her medications, was not listening to the recommendations of her medical team, and refused to even see some of her doctors. Ms. Montgomery said she was very worried about the direction my daughter was heading in and directly asked for my help to address these issues.’
Jamie says that they also discussed Britney’s claims made in court in June, where she begged a Los Angeles judge to free her from the court-ordered conservatorship that has given her father Jamie control over her life and $60million fortune for the last 13 years.
‘Ms. Montgomery acknowledged that many of my daughter’s statements at the last hearing were not true and attributed her statements to the fact that my daughter is ”mentally sick,”’ Jamie claims in the documents.
He goes on to say he explained to Montgomery that he would ‘do anything I could do to help my daughter but was limited in this ability since I do not have access or insight into any of my daughter’s medical information.’
‘After Ms. Montgomery shared her detailed concerns about my daughter’s recent behavior, safety, and overall health, she raised potential options including a 5150 psychiatric hold, which raised my concerns,’ he said.
Montgomery’s attorney Lauriann Wright said: ‘Ms. Montgomery is saddened that her telephone call to Mr. Spears, made out of genuine concern for Ms. Spears, and intended to re-establish a working relationship with Mr. Spears towards Ms. Spears’ mental health and well-being, is now being misrepresented and manipulated to gain some sort of tactical advantage in the pending proceedings to remove him as Conservator.
‘Ms. Montgomery implores Mr. Spears to stop the attacks – it does no good; it only does harm. We all need to focus on one thing, and one thing only – the health, well-being and best interests of Britney Spears,’ the statement adds.
Jamie filed a motion today in Los Angeles court opposing being removed as his daughter Britney’s conservator, a position he’s held for 13 years
‘She raised potential options including a 5150 psychiatric hold,’ Jamie says. He says that they also discussed Britney’s claims made in court in June, where she begged a judge to free her from the court-ordered conservatorship
In a lengthy and passionate address in June, Britney shocked the world when she furiously demanded to have her father Jamie removed as her conservator and claimed that, among other things, the conservatorship has prevented her from marrying her boyfriend of five years, Sam Asghari, 27, or even removing her IUD so that she can have children with him as she wants.
‘I want this conservatorship to end – I truly believe that this conservatorship is abusive,’ the 39 year-old pop superstar pleaded in a passionate 25-minute appeal to Judge Brenda Penny.
‘I want to be able to get married to my boyfriend and have a baby but the conservatorship told me I can’t do that.
‘I have an IUD (intrauterine device) inside me to prevent me from having a baby. I want to go to a doctor and take it out so I can have a baby but they (the conservatorship) told me no.
‘I feel ganged up on and bullied and alone.’
The judge overseeing Spears’ case denied her request to remove her father’s control days later.
Britney has now refused to work while her father holds legal sway over her life and finances.
And last month she won a significant victory when the court granted her the right to choose her own attorney and she retained Matthew Rosengart.
He took over from court-appointed lawyer Samuel Ingham who drew a salary of more than $500,000 a year during his tenure and saw earlier efforts to have Jamie removed stall when he failed to file the singer’s petition in a timely fashion.
