During a conversation last night on Spanish TV channel Movistar Plus, La Liga president Javier Tebas emphasized that this tournament has an 80% chance of having Kylian Mbappe next season.

When asked by a reporter about the best striker in the world today, Mbappe, Mr. Tebas did not hesitate to share his confidence that La Liga will have this superstar by 2024. This La Liga president emphasized Mbappe’s determination not to renew his contract with PSG as a great opportunity for the country’s No. 1 tournament to have the services of an expensive star, after parting ways with both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

In addition, Tebas did not hesitate to mention that Mbappe’s next stop is Real Madrid. Thereby, the 62-year-old man expressed certain confidence in the ability of the 24-year-old star to join the Bernabeu. “I can’t say for sure that Mbappe will come, but I know it’s a destination for him. I can say that there is a 70-80% chance of him coming to La Liga next year”, Tebas is very comfortable and confident when talking about the possibility of Mbappe coming to the Spanish National League next year.

In addition, Tebas gave a very detailed and specific analysis of Mbappe’s uncertain future at PSG. Mbappe’s contract with PSG will expire in June 2024 and he always refused to activate the 1-year extension option. Recently, Mbappe also gave up a loyalty bonus of up to 80 million euros to leave for free in June next year.

This is not the first time this La Liga president has expressed his desire to see Mbappe come to the Spanish National Championship to play. In 2022, Tebas himself was criticized a lot and did not appreciate Mbappe’s extension with PSG under pressure from French president Emmanuel Macron, while previously the 24-year-old striker was expected to join Real.

Tebas said that signing a new contract was an “insult to football” and demanded to file a complaint against PSG.
