What is The Roast of Tom Brady?
The Roast of Tom Brady was a night of laughter where comics and sports figures teamed up to roast NFL legend Tom Brady — part of the star-studded Netflix Is a Joke Fest.
The celebration of comedy features over 400 live stand-up shows, special events, table reads, sketches and more — with some of the funniest people in the world taking part.
Chris Rock, 59, Bill Burr, 55, David Letterman, 77, and Ali Wong, 42, are all scheduled to perform during Netflix’s comedy extravaganza.
Netlix’s Joke Fest takes place between May 2 and May 12.
The streaming giant explains: “… the comedy community will take over more than 35 of Los Angeles’ most beloved landmarks, such as Hollywood Bowl, the Greek, the Dolby, the Forum, the Palladium, Orpheum Theatre, and the Wiltern, as well as historic comedy venues, including the Hollywood Improv, Largo, Laugh Factory, and The Comedy Store.
“The festival will also feature Outside Joke — the hub of Netflix Is a Joke Fest.

“With everything from late-night live stand-up and cast game shows to laugh-out-loud lawn games, Outside Joke is every fan’s chance to get in on the joke as they enjoy the best moments in Netflix comedy and beyond.”
In mid-April, Tom admitted to NBC’s Today that he was not afraid of host Kevin and the other participants at the roast playing jokes at his expense.
“I’ve played in the NFL so I’m not worried about a bunch of comedians, trust me,” the ex-New England Patriots said.
Why was Kim Kardashian booed on the show?
At first Kim, 43, seemed to be winning over the crowd, who were cheering while she spoke with a glass of champagne in one hand.
“I know a lot of people make fun of your height,” she said, referring to the former footballer.
However, the cheers suddenly turned to loud jeers.
The nonstop booing stopped her from continuing her roast.
Kim smiled at the camera and repeated: “All right,” several times.
Host Kevin Hart, 43, attempted to cool down the rough crowd.
“All right, Kevin,” the Skims founder sarcastically replied.
On the large screens, Tom clapped his hands during the heckling
