She is currently going through the peeling process.

Cardi’s new tattoo is already healing, but that part of the process is so unpleasant. She shared a video on Tuesday, May 26, to her Instagram Stories saying she was itchy. The tattoo process creates a wound in your skin with the needle piercing through in order for the ink to enter the skin. It then begins peeling and it is your body’s way of getting rid of dead skin cells that were affected during the process. This can often look unappealing and can also be itchy for some, no matter how much of a tattoo fan you are, you might experience this.
