Rapper Cardi B urged her fans to ‘obey the law’ as she stepped out to do her 15 days of community service wearing a Chanel knitted hat and designer shoes

Cardi B has shown she has expensive taste as she headed to her court-ordered community service wearing a stylish getup worth almost $10,000 (£8,300).

The rapper, 30, was ordered to complete 15 days of community service after pleading guilty to misdemeanour charges in September following a fight at a strip club in 2018.

She reported to court last month after failing to complete her community service, but a judge extended the deadline to March 1.

Taking to Twitter, Cardi shared a series of snaps of the high-fashion outfits she picked as she reported for duty.

On Thursday, the musician opted for a black and white checked top and baggy white trousers.

She paired her look with white-painted Maison Margiela Tabi Boots, worth $1,190 (£990).

Captioning her tweet, Cardi wrote: “Community service ….I have to do a lot of hours today and I’m very sleepy ……..YOU DO THE CRIME YOU DO THE TIME!!!!!”

On Wednesday, she opted for another expensive look. She opted for a light pink bomber jacket and black leggings which she paired with another pair of Margiela Tabi boots, this time in pink.

In the picture, Cardi carried pink Chanel handbag worth $5,595 (£4,650).

Alongside the snap, she urged: “On my way to serve some community service time …..DONT COMMIT CRIMES!”

In a third tweet shared on Tuesday, Cardi wrote: “Day whatever the f**k of community service……….Obey the law!!!!”

She shared another mirror selfie wearing a skintight black vest top and matching cut-out leggings from her Cardi B x Reebok collaboration.

She also wore her white-painted Maison Margiela Tabi Boots and a Chanel beanie, which costs $1,570 (£1,300).

In total, Cardi’s luxury items would have set her back $9,545 (£7,930).

Fans were in awe of Cardi’s outfits, with one person writing: “Not her slaying every community service fit.”

“I’m kinda loving the community service outfit series,” another tweeted, while a third fan commented: “Sis doing community service in Tabi’s. Truly Gods strongest warrior.”

Someone else wrote: “You look so cute,” with two heart emojis.

The WAP hitmaker was sentenced to community service after admitting she threw a shisha pipe at two bartenders and ordered a friend to attack one of them for allegedly sleeping with her husband.
