Jemele Hill Destroys New York Times For Making Absurd Claim About Travis Kelce’s Hair

The New York Times is getting destroyed online after publishing a certain article about Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

The Times put out a piece on Kelce’s haircut and how it’s really caught on this season. However, the style didn’t originate from the Pro Bowler; the buzz cut fade has been a popular choice for a long time.

Hill was among those who criticized the publication over the article, also going after The Sporting News for an article they wrote about “Swag Surfing.”

“The NYT thinks that Travis Kelce invented the fade,” she wrote on X. “When you have zero cultural competency on your staff, this is how you end up with stories like this, and explaining swag surfin,’ which is at least 15 or years old.”

Several users took Hill’s side on this. You can see some of the reactions right below:

Meanwhile, Kelce will hope to earn his first Super Bowl win this side of his relationship with Taylor Swift when the Chiefs play the San Francisco 49ers next Sunday, having already helped the AFC supremos win two of them.
