Brittany Mahomes Shuts Down Chiefs Haters After Team Makes Super Bowl: ‘Anyone Have Anything Else to Say?’
With the Super Bowl in sight, Brittany Mahomes is looking back at the Chiefs’ playoff run — along with her VIP suitemate Taylor Swift!
On her Instagram Story on Monday, the 28-year-old wife of quarterback Patrick Mahomes shared two photos from the team’s pursuit of the NFL title — one from the first round of the playoffs, when the Chiefs played the Miami Dolphins on Jan. 13 and another from Sunday’s AFC championship game against the Baltimore Ravens. While the opponents may have changed, the pictures — which feature a celebratory Swift, Brittany and Lyndsay Bell, the wife of Chiefs player Blake Bell — are seemingly the same.
In the images, Swift enjoyed a beverage with one hand, while her other was placed on a pregnant Bell’s belly. Brittany also cradled Bell’s bump, as the trio — dressed in Chiefs colors — smiled for the camera. For Brittany, the playoffs have been a chance to share new experiences with Swift, who began dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce last summer. During the game against the Dolphins, Swift and Brittany were seen happily singing along and swaying to F.L.Y.’s “Swag Surfin’” with fellow Chiefs fans while they were seated next Travis’s mom, Donna Kelce.
In Buffalo for the divisional playoff round, the duo were pictured excitedly celebrating Kelce’s touchdown in the third quarter. The friends embraced each other in a suite at Highmark Stadium after the play, as family members and friends who joined them shared their excitement about the touchdown. On Sunday in Baltimore, the mom and entrepreneur stepped out in style once again to support her husband. Brittany, who arrived at the game with the “Anti-Hero” singer, wore a black-and-white jacket with Patrick’s “15” jersey number prominently displayed on the collar.
And after the game, Brittany called out the Chiefs haters who said the team wouldn’t make it back to the big game for a second year in a row, writing on her Instagram Story: “We went there. We won. Anyone have anything else to say?,” with a smiling emoji. The Chiefs are set to take on the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Feb. 11 in Super Bowl LVIII.
