Brittany Mahomes’ ‘Pre-Game Warmup’ for ‘Kelly Clarkson Show’ Appearance Answers Some Burning Questions
The wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is a guest on the Friday, Jan. 26, episode of Clarkson’s talk show.
Brittany Mahomes is making her debut on the The Kelly Clarkson Show this week—but not without a proper warmup.
The former pro soccer player and wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes recently filmed an interview for Kelly Clarkson‘s daytime talk show, but before the episode airs, she’s giving fans a little teaser by answering some burning questions.
In a new video shared to the show’s official Instagram account, Mahomes, 28, was doing her “walk to stage warm-up” by answering some rapid fire questions before her chat with Clarkson—and fans were quite amused by some of her answers.
To start off, Mahomes was asked what show she is currently binging, and just like a lot of folks, her answer was Suits: “It has inspired me to completely change my wardrobe.”
The next question was about the last person Mahomes texted: her mom—who apparently was looking for some tea on Clarkson, 41.
“She keeps texting me telling me I need to ask Kelly when she’s going back on The Voice,” Mahomes spilled.
But along with some questions about her children and growing up in Texas, Mahomes had to answer some tougher questions, including whether she thinks soccer, her former sport, or football, her husband’s sport, is better.
After a big pause, Mahomes gave up, saying, “That’s hard. I don’t think I can decide.”
She was also asked about her go-to hype-up song, and surprisingly didn’t name a track by new bestie Taylor Swift. Instead, Mahomes opted for a more general answer, just stating, “country music,” which technically, could include some of Swift’s tunes!
Fans were happy to see Mahomes gearing up for an appearance on Clarkson’s show, including one Instagram user who wrote in the comments, “Love seeing our KC peeps representing! ⚽️🥅🏟️🏈.”
“Love her! Can’t wait to watch,” someone else gushed.
The Kelly Clarkson Show airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EST on NBC.
