Although Deepika looked as graceful as ever, some online critics called out the actress. These netizens doubted the authenticity of her baby bump calling it fake. While there were others who criticised her for her choice of footwear.

Deepika was seen wearing black pencil heels. Netizens questioned her decision to wear heels while pregnant, especially keeping in mind her height. Others wrote that she was probably faking her pregnancy.

Nonetheless, Deepika appeared unaffected despite the negativity, adorably cradling her bump during media interactions.

Richa Chadha comes in support of Deepika Padukone

The debate was going viral on social media. However, it quickly gained momentum when actress and mom-to-be Richa Chadha commented on the debate. Notably, Richa Chadha is also expecting a baby and is preparing to step into parenthood with her husband, Ali Fazal.

Richa Chadha’s statement quickly went viral on the internet. Richa said, “No uterus, no opinion.” This sparked discussions about unsolicited advice on a woman’s pregnancy. Several users pointed out that it was just Deepika’s established fashion sense and she could wear what she wanted.
