Viewers Were Concerned About Lee Corso As He Appeared To Be Sleeping While Standing Up At Michigan-Washington National Championship Game (VIDEO)

Football fans became concerned about legendary ESPN analyst Lee Corso when he appeared to be sleepy during the National Championship Game on Monday .

The Michigan Wolverines cruised to a 34-13 victory over the Washington Huskies to win their first national championship since 1997. The ground game paved the way with a whopping 303 yards and four touchdowns on 38 carries, led by Blake Corum’s 134.

 

During the trophy second quarter, cameras showed Corso looking awfully exhausted and sleepy:

Fans expressed concern for Corso and also wondered why ESPN had the longtime analyst standing for the entire game:

The 88-year-old Corso was previously the head football coach of Louisville, Indiana, Northern Illinois and the Orlando Renegades of the USFL. He has been with the Worldwide Leader In Sports since 1987.

Corso won 73 games in his NCAA coaching career and led the Hoosiers to a Holiday Bowl victory in 1979.
