Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is usually one to block out the noise and stay away from trash talk, but Sunday night was an exception.

Earlier this week, Bills star offensive tackle Dion Dawkins wished “Good luck” to Mahomes over having to play in Buffalo’s home venue of Highmark Stadium. Mahomes’ lone previous visit there came in 2020, when the Bills had no fans in attendance because of COVID-19.

Mahomes kept Dawkins’ message fresh in the back of his mind and referenced the “good luck” comment with this Instagram post:

Mahomes led the Chiefs to a 27-24 win at Highmark Stadium, having escaped victorious after Tyler Bass missed a game-tying 44-yard field goal attempt. With that, KC is in the AFC Championship Game for the sixth straight year.
