In the game of social media, Brittany Mahomes is tired of bad sportsmanship.

As Patrick Mahomes’ wife continues to document her life for more than 1.6 million Instagram followers, the mother of two has seen an increase in negative comments online. As a result, she decided to speak out against the haters.

“Recently, there has been ALOT more rude ass people on here, waaaay more than normal,” she wrote in an Instagram Story Tuesday. “I’m not sure where y’all came from, but you should probably go back to where you came from… please.”

While it’s unclear what specifically propelled Brittany to speak out, one look at her most recent Instagram post shows not every follower is in her corner.

After watching the Kansas City Chiefs take on the New England Patriots this past weekend, Brittany received more than her fair share of critical comments after posting a photo from the field.

“Get off the field and get a job,” one user wrote in the comments section. Another added, “How many pictures of yourself do ya need.”

Others appeared to poke fun at her relationship with Taylor Swift, who is dating Chiefs player Travis Kelce. “Wishing she was Taylor so Bad,” one person wrote. A separate user added, “Copy Taylor Swift’s game day style much????”

However, not every comment deserved a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct.

“WOMEN — you have to stop leaving negative comments on other women’s pages,” one fan wrote. “It is so pathetic, so please just do not say anything if you have nothing positive to say. Blows my mind that grown women have to be reminded of this.”
