Every single year, a few fans end up having their lives turned upside or even ended as the result of crazed fandom over their favorite teams. It has happened yet again.

Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed during an argument outside Hard Rock Stadium following the Miami Dolphins game Sunday night.

Miami-Dade Police units assigned to the Dolphin game detail were on the scene, administering chest compressions to the victim who was shot following an argument.

Investigators said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man was Buffalo Bills fan, Dylan Isaacs. A GoFundMe has started to help his family bring his body to Canada.

It appears the man was with his girlfriend and a few of his friends, and they were walking through traffic as they left the area. An argument reportedly erupted between the victim and his friends and someone in a vehicle.

That’s when an unidentified person exited a vehicle, and started shooting at the group. Bystanders told CBS News in Miami they heard at least four shots rang out.

“I tried to talk to [the shot man and] I was holding his hand,” Jackson said. “His girlfriend came over and told him he was strong. At that moment, he actually lifted his arm up so there was hope, and maybe like 30 seconds later, his eyes rolled up and that was it.”
