Kai Cenat claps back at NBA fans after height memes go viral

2023 Streamer of the Year Kai Cenat fired back at Shannon Sharpe and the NBA community after getting roasted for his height during All-Star Weekend.

If you have the gall to make fun of superstar streamer Kai Cenat, expect a whirlwind of comebacks.

That’s exactly how the 2023 Streamer of the Year responded to ESPN’s Shannon Sharpe and a litany of NBA fans who made mockery of his height during and after this year’s Dunk Contest.

Cenat went on Sharpe’s podcast with fellow NFL great Chad Ochocinco and let all of his haters hear it while laughing off the jeers in the process.

Kai Cenat hits back over height jibes

On Monday morning’s episode of First Take, Sharpe roasted Jaylen Brown for dunking over Cenat in the Dunk Contest, the latter of whom he proclaimed to be three-feet tall

“Aaron Gordon jumped over Tako Fall. Mac McClung jumped over Shaq. Jaylen Brown jumped over Kai Cenat in a seat. What am I supposed to do with that Stephen A.?” Sharpe posed.

Naturally, a fitting question arose when Cenat confronted Sharpe to defend his pride. Is it five foot five or five foot nine? That was the topic of debate between Cenat, Sharpe and Ochocinco on “Nightcap.”

Cenat got a boost from Ochocinco, who declared him to be average height by U.S. standards. On the other hand, Sharpe offered his usual legendary trash talk by downplaying the Twitch sensation in a classic back-and-forth.

Cenat boasted about his stature and let all those who got their hand in on making him the talk of the town know how unbothered he was after initially offering a profanity-laced reaction rant to Sharpe’s comments on national television.

Ultimately, Brown’s dunk may not have tested his vertical jump to the max, but it did provide the contest with creative flair, something it’s missed in several contests in recent memory. Cenat managed to get the last laugh on the matter.
