A ring on Heather Milligan’s finger sparked speculation.

Are Arnold Schwarzenegger and Heather Milligan engaged?

That has been the question on folks’ minds ever since the girlfriend of bodybuilder-turned-actor-turned-politician was spotted wearing a sizable ring.

According to sources close to the couple, however, Schwarzenegger and Milligan are not currently engaged, TMZ reported.

Rumors started swirling on Tuesday, Oct. 24 when the pair stepped out in London—and Milligan sported a ring on *that* finger, the Daily Mail reported.

Schwarzenegger and Milligan have been dating since 2013 following the actor’s 2011 separation from his wife of 25 years, Maria Shriver (which happened after he disclosed he had a child with their housekeeper).

In 2021, Schwarzenegger and Shriver’s divorce was finalized.

“We have so many things in common,” Schwarzenegger, 76, told People in September of his girlfriend, 48.

“I think the world of her. I love that she’s into working. She’s clearly independent. She just is driven as hell.”

Milligan is a physical therapist who owns her company, Elite OrthoSport, in Los Angeles—which is where the couple first met.

In 2012, she helped rehab Schwarzenegger following a shoulder operation, at his surgeon’s recommendation.

“And so [the surgeon] says, ‘There’s only one (person), it’s Heather—any athlete, I always send them to her, because she’s the only one that really knows what they’re talking about,'” he recounted to People.

“So I went to her, and then after my therapy was finished, after I was finished with the movie, I called her back and took her out for lunch to say thank you. And then one thing led to the next.”

In recent weeks, the lovebirds have traveled while promoting Schwarzenegger’s new book, Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life.

Although he and Milligan are not engaged at this point, we’ll be sure to keep you updated when/if that changes!
