Epiphany will see Sylvester Stallone returning to the icy streets of Philadelphia as a soon-to-retire detective is Sylvester Stallone (via Deadline). Accompanied by a younger cop and a former priest, he is set on finding the person who’s on a killing spree in the keystone state.
It is interesting how a quintessential action hero like Stallone has pivoted paths and changed genres. The film was released under Balboa Pictures, which is Stallone’s own production company.
Stallone venturing into the crime-drama genre has sent shockwaves in the industry. Fans of the legend are taken aback by the news. It will be interesting to see him in a different kind of bloodbath.
