Even though he is nearly 70 years old, Liam Neeson is still diligently filming and making a comeback with a new action movie
Fans of action movies certainly cannot help but know Liam Neeson, a veteran Irish actor, one of Hollywood’s most famous “action heroes” with a series of hit blockbusters.
He once incarnated as Qui-Gon Jinn, training Jedi knights in the “Star Wars “ series ; played the villain Ra’s al Ghul, training Batman (Christian Bale) in Christopher Nolan’s “Batman Begins” (2005); as the leader of a special forces squad in “The A-Team” (2010).
But the most prominent role is that of former CIA agent Bryan Mills, who continuously rescued his wife and children in three parts of the famous action movie “Taken”, released in 2008, 2012 and 2014 respectively.
Also thanks to the success of the “Taken” series, Liam Neeson was favored by filmmakers, given the role of family “hero”, specializing in searching for relatives and hunting down those who dare to touch his home.
The main character of the film is Travis Block played by Liam Neeson, a former FBI agent.
He accidentally discovered a secret plan of kidnappings, assassinations and extortion involving the FBI director.
Things become even more chaotic when his daughter and granddaughter are kidnapped.
Now, Travis must simultaneously rescue the people he loves as well as expose the dark truth that has been hidden for so long.
The film was written and directed by Mark Williams – screenwriter and producer of the famous “Ozark” – and opens in theaters from March 11.
