After filming was stopped by COVID, the finished product was shelved in China due to strict movie laws and censorship.

The Road to the Screens for Hidden Strike Was Dramatic
Sylvester Stallone, a legendary actor in Hollywood, was set to star alongside, Jackie Chan in the movie. But Stallone withdrew due to his commitment to Creed 2 filming.

The Jackie Chan and John Cena collaboration film has had a difficult time finding a release date.
It was originally titled Snafu, then went by the titles, Project X, Project X-Traction, and finally Hidden Strike.
The project was first made public in 2018, just before Cena’s reputation as a movie star started to increase as a result of appearances in blockbuster films.
Some of them include The Suicide Squad, the Transformers prequel, Bumblebee, and the ninth Fast and Furious movie.

The US-China relationship was somewhat upset by a drama involving trade during the start of filming in China.
Although a release date for Hidden Strike isn’t yet known, it will probably happen this year.
