The Terminator actor flew into Germany from LA, but is thought to have found himself held by customs officers in Munich, with officials inspecting his luggage.
According to multiple outlets, they found a luxury Audemars Piguet watch in the 76-year-old’s suitcase, sparking an investigation.
He was also reportedly forced to fork out a €35,000 fine before leaving.

Customs spokesperson Thomas Meister told the outlet that ‘criminal tax proceedings’ had been initiated against the Hollywood icon.
‘We have initiated criminal tax proceedings. The watch should have been registered because it is an import,’ he said.
Insiders shed light on the situation to the New York Post, describing it as a ‘comedy of errors’ that led to Arnie being detained for nearly three hours before he was taken to different cash points so that he could pay his fine.
‘He was never asked to fill out a declaration form and he answered every question from customs officers honestly,’ they said.
