‘Rambo’ star Sylvester Stallone said that when he almost lost his family, he realized that his wife and children are the most important things in the world.

Sylvester Stallone shared for the first time about the tumultuous marriage he recently experienced in an interview with Sunday Times magazine. “It can only be said that it was a chaotic time,” the 76-year-old actor confided.

“I have realized what is more precious than anything, which is love for family. I have learned a valuable lesson and understood that family should always be prioritized over work.”

In August, Sylvester Stallone’s wife – former model Jennifer Flavin – suddenly filed for divorce in court. She wrote that the marriage could no longer be saved because of many disagreements.

One of the reasons she listed is that Sylvester intentionally dissipated and wasted his assets. Sylvester, who was said to be filming a movie away from home at the time, was shocked when his wife divorced him.

Responding to his wife’s announcement, he told the media: “I love my family. We are resolving these personal matters privately and amicably.”

After that, the actor tried to meet his wife at home to chat and gradually resolve the problems. On October 7, Stallone and his wife announced that they had withdrawn their divorce petition and mended their relationship.

Since then, the pair of stars appeared happy together, more intimate and passionate than before.

Sylvester Stallone said that the recent incident helped him learn how to become a better person in the family, especially as a father. “I didn’t pay enough attention when my children were growing up, I only focused on work,” he confided.

Now, Sylvester wants to make up for lost time and bond more with his daughters: “I want to ask my children every day, at first they only answered vaguely.

Then, one of my children said: ‘I was just thinking about dad’. Oh my God! I’ve never heard that in my life. When a girl knows you care, she’ll remember that forever.”
