Vanessa Marcil has some serious beef with her 90210 co-star and his ex.
First introduced to millions of viewers when Beverly Hills, 90210 became a sensation during the early ‘90s, Brian Austin Green certainly seemed to enjoy his moment in the sun.
Even though Green’s profile diminished in the years since that show ended, he has gotten a lot of attention for his relationship with Megan Fox.
Together for more than 15 years, the wealthy Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green wound up getting married in 2010. Everything seemed good until their 2020 separation. However, a lot of fans may not realize that even during the heyday of Fox and Green’s marriage, they were the subject of some notable criticism.
Chosen to star in two of Beverly Hills, 90210’s later seasons, Vanessa Marcil must have been overjoyed to join the cast of such a high profile show. Not only a boon to her career at the time, but the role also changed Marcil’s personal life forever because she dated her castmate Brian Austin Green.
Unfortunately, the former couple has gone through some frosty times in the years since their breakup and Marcil even publicly criticized Austin and his then-wife Megan Fox.
90210 Dating Pool
Arguably among the biggest hit shows in the history of the Fox network, Beverly Hills, 90210 found a dedicated audience that tuned in weekly. Able to stand out in large part because it was a show for teens that didn’t feel pandering, 90210’s gorgeous cast also played a large role in its success. Considering how attractive the show’s young cast was, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that many of them went on to date.
Quite possibly the 90210 star who got around the most on set, Brian Austin Green went on to date his fellow castmates Tiffani Thiessen and the troubled Tori Spelling. That said, it was his relationship with his costar Vanessa Marcil that would have the most profound effect on his life.
Together from 1999 until 2003, Vanessa Marcil and Brian Austin Green were able to make things work for several years. Most importantly, during that time Marcil became pregnant and she gave birth to Green’s son Kassius in March 2002.
Walking Down The Aisle
After Megan Fox landed a recurring role in the 2000s sitcom Hope & Faith, she met her future husband Brian Austin Green when he guest-starred in an episode. Despite the fact that Green is more than a decade older than Fox, the pair quickly became a couple. After moving in together in 2006, Green would propose to Fox in November of that year.
An on-again, off-again couple in the years that followed, Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox called off their engagement in the year 2009. Eventually able to patch things up, they got married in 2010 and went on to have 3 children together over the next decade. Unfortunately, even though Fox and Green built a family together, things were rocky at times.
After spending 5 years married to Brian Austin Green, Megan Fox wound up filing for divorce in 2105. Able to reconcile once more the following year, Fox would eventually file the papers to dismiss their divorce proceedings. Sadly, in 2020 Green announced on his podcast that he and Fox had separated once more and as of the time of this writing, they have stayed apart.

In an ideal world, every pair of exes who are responsible for co-parenting would be able to peacefully work things out between them. Unfortunately, in reality, a lot of exes already harbor ill feelings which are only made worse by the stresses of legal battles and other parental disagreements.
“12 years ago I was served legal papers and then spent 8 years+ defending myself and my son in custody court in response to his father & his stepmother trying to get full custody(that means I would have seen my son four days a month) and then asking me to pay them child support.” Elaborating further, Marcil claimed that Green and Fox “lost that case & a civil case asking me for 200,000.”
Worse yet, according to Marcil, Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox “decided to completely cut Kass out of their lives and his younger brothers’ lives. Kass has never met his youngest brother and is not allowed to know where his bio father, stepmother, and three younger brothers live. He has only seen his dad in passing or in places.
Custody cases hurt the children only and the truth shall set us all free.” Continuing, a few sentences later Marcil wrote “Kass has been truly heartbroken since being cut out of his other families lives with NO explanation.”
Opting to include a more positive sentiment in her post, Marcil also wrote “Put the kids first you guys. There shouldn’t be a ‘more important parent’ kids love both parents equally no matter what either parent’s struggles may be.” Finally, her post ended with the words “Let’s do better for our kids. Let’s share our stories. #Buddhakids.”
