Conflicts between actors and directors are a common occurrence and hardly ever surprising. But publically defaming and vowing never to work with each other is a step too far that often draws a lot of controversy and unnecessary flak.
And so it happened with the celebrated actor Bruce Willis when he claimed never to work with Steven Spielberg’s alleged protege after working with him in their $553 million movie.
Despite the movie’s immense success, Willis revealed his experience on set was quite unpleasant while working on Michael Bay’s Armageddon. But this wasn’t the first time an actor had made such a claim, for even Megan Fox had expressed similar sentiments as well.

Bruce Willis starred in the scientifically insane but immensely successful movie Armageddon. The movie is now one of the biggest movies of his career. however, as he later claimed, his experience on the set was a completely unpleasant one.
Just before the release of the fourth installment of his popular franchise Die Hard, Bruce Willis took to the movie discussion forum of the site Ain’t it Cool News. First anonymously and then later exposing his identity, he made a hypothetical situation of what would have happened had Michael Bay directed Die Hard 4. He reportedly wrote (via Rotten Tomatoes),
“[He] would have ruined DH4. Few people will work with him now, and I know I will never work with him again.”
He later added on,
“I loved working with all the guys, the actor I mean. It was a great crew, but a screaming Director does not make for a pleasant set experience.”
His shocking comments about his on-set experience were similar to what Megan Fox experienced while working with Michael Bay on the Transformers franchise.
Megan Fox On Her Experience Of Working With Michael Bay
Megan Fox
Megan Fox has starred in multiple successful movies including Michael Bay’s Transformers. Although the role propelled her into the limelight, her experience of working with Bay wasn’t entirely too exciting.
In an interview with Wonderland Magazine, the actress stated,
“He’s like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for…on set he’s a tyrant. Shia and I almost die when we make a Transformers movie. He has you do some really insane things that insurance would never let you do.”
Later on, alleged reports of her being ‘s*xualized’ by the director led to Bay getting a lot of criticism from fans, which Fox revealed were false and that she never had any such experience with him.
