Super Bowl LVIII had it all, including a pair of streakers.

During the second half of the ‘Big Game’ between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, the streakers ran onto the field at Allegiant Stadium before being tackled by security.

Sebastian Rivera, 22, and Alex Gonzalez, 23, ran onto the field while the Chiefs were on offense in the third quarter.

The topless duo briefly sprinted around the turf before being swarmed on by stadium security.

They were eventually escorted off the field and down the tunnel.

You may be forgiven for thinking it was a harmless bit of fun, but as it turns out it was an incredibly costly stunt.

Rivera and Gonzalez were reportedly booked into Clark County Detention Center on misdemeanour charges of prohibited conduct at an athletic event.

Jail logs allegedly showed charges included grand larceny, battery on a public officer and obstruction.

According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, the pair were released from custody and are due in court on April 17.

And now, Gonzalez, who has 446,000 followers on Instagram and describes himself as a day trader, has revealed that he ‘literally just paid $42,000 to go to jail.’

“One of my goals has always been to streak the Super Bowl,” Gonzalez said in an Instagram video.

“And I don’t want to be that guy, that I’m rich and I’m 50 years old and I’m like, ‘Damn, I wish I would’ve done that when I was younger.’

“No. I did it now and I’ll do it again.”

He also uploaded various photos of himself streaking to Instagram with the caption: “Being rich is living life on your own terms , according to your possibilities not your limitations.

“So why not do something no one has the courage to do, I spent $42,000 to live an experience not only that I’ll never forget.”

The streaker also uploaded a video to his YouTube channel titled ‘How I Streaked The Super Bowl in 2024’.

The video shows the pranksters buying two Super Bowl tickets – in row 1 of section 128 at Allegiant Stadium – which set them back $42,000.

The rest of the vlog shows the pair attending the game and sitting in their seats as they wait for the perfect chance to strike.

Before the game kicked off he nipped to the toilets to write his social media handle on his chest in black marker.

Footage then shows the pair running onto the field before being taken down by security and escorted away.
