Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have welcomed their family’s newest addition!
The couple have a six-year-old daughter, Luna, and a four-year-old son, Miles, and have been open about suffering a devastating pregnancy loss in September 2020. Just over two years later, Legend announced the exciting news at a private concert, telling the crowd “the little baby” was born “this morning” on January 13. A baby Capricorn!
According to People, the singer also shared that he “feels energized” despite not getting “a lot of sleep” while spending “a lot of time” at the hospital. Further details, including the newborn’s name, have yet to be revealed.
“What a blessed day,” Legend said.
The 37-year-old model announced her latest pregnancy in August 2022, after documenting her journey with IVF treatments. “The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again,” Chrissy Teigen wrote alongside a mirror selfie of her growing baby bump. “1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as [you] can see!) we have another on the way.”

She continued, “Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still. I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. Ok phew it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!”
