The Kansas City Chiefs man already has two Super Bowls under his belt and it only looks like he will be adding to that tally. Patrick Lavon Mahomes more popularly known as Patrick Mahomes Sr is a former baseball pitcher who used to play in the MLB (Major League Baseball) from 1992-2003. He has featured for teams like the Minnesota Twins, Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs, and Pittsburgh Pirates.

He has a win-loss record of 42–39 with 452 strikeouts against his name along with an earned run average of 5.47. Apart from the MLB, he was also featured in the Nippon Professional Baseball in 1997 and 1998. He played for the Yokohama BayStars.

Mahomes Sr said, “I’m a big football fan, always have been. And I remember Doug Williams when he won the Super Bowl. I remember some of the other Black quarterbacks – Randall Cunningham, Donovan McNabb and all those guys – and just how hard it was to be able to get a chance to play their position.”

He further added,”And for Patrick and Jalen to be a part of the first two to play in a Super Bowl just shows how far we’ve come. And I’m just so happy a Mahomes will be one of them. And it just makes me so proud.”

He  was inducted to the Sioux Falls Canaries Hall of Fame in 2019. Patrick Mahomes Sr currently has a podcast which is known as ‘The Big Mahomes Show‘. The show was launched in November 2021.
