When you are a global star like Taylor Swift, stalking and intense media coverage come as a part of the package. But this time, it seemed to have gone a bit out of hand that even the Swifties called them out!

Keeping up with his promise, Travis Kelce is in Sydney, Australia as he joined his superstar girlfriend on her Eras Tour. After exploring the top restaurants in the city, the “Anti-Hero” songwriter went on a special date with Kelce to Sydney Zoo as a ‘private tour.’ However, the word ‘private’ didn’t sit well with the Australian media, as they covered the couple’s date via helicopter addressing it as “National News.”

According to local media outlet 9News, the happy couple walked around feeding the kangaroos, holding each other’s hands. Since the Kansas City Chiefs tight end arrived in the city, the paparazzi haven’t left his side and have been documenting each of his moves.

Swift’s shows in Sydney would begin on Friday at the Accor Stadium, after that she’ll head towards Singapore, where she is scheduled to perform six sold-out shows, starting March 5. The NFL star will be accompanying her throughout, and hopefully on her Europe tour as well, which is set for this Summer.

Swifties called out Australian media for violating Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s privacy

Swifties didn’t appreciate at all how the Australian media has been violating their queen’s privacy by getting her snippets from the ‘private zoo tour’ through helicopter and drones.

As the “Lover” singer has some time before her show on Friday, she wants to spend it exploring the gorgeous city. But she has made her best attempts to have the least media coverage.  “How tf is two people walking around national news … so creepy and concerning,” wrote a fan while another wrote, “This is weird and bizarre and it’s wild that some swifties find this cute when it’s meant to be creepy.” Here are some of the reactions:

A Swifie called out the Australian media for running Swift and Kelce’s private date at the zoo as breaking news and violating their privacy in such an extreme manner. Fans expressed their concern about this level of stalking by the media and also pointed out the media coverage of Kelce’s arrival.
