BAD BLOOD? Katy Perry SHOCKS fans with her ‘AWKWARD’ behavior at ex-rival Taylor Swift’s Australian concert years after nasty feud

KATY Perry’s behavior at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in Sydney has left fans in hysterics.

The pop music singer was seen dancing unenthusiastically to her former rival’s song Bad Blood – a 2014 revenge track that was rumored to be about her.

Katy joined a slew of stars in the VIP tent at Taylor’s performance on Thursday night, including Taylor’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, Rita Ora, and Taika Waititi.

In several videos posted by fans, she was seen looking stoney-faced while mouthing the lyrics to Bad Blood and checking her phone.

The American Idol judge, 39, also swayed listlessly from side to side, while Travis, 34, danced energetically behind her.

Katy’s lukewarm reception to the song didn’t go unnoticed by fans, who shared their amusement online while reflecting on their years-long feud.

“Welp this is awkward,” one wrote on X, as another added, “Oh God.”

“Travis is living his best life. Meanwhile Katy: [serious face emoji],” a third posted.

“Katy having a 2015 flashback,” someone else commented on TikTok.

One user also pointed out that Travis once opted to “marry” Katy over Taylor, 34, in a game of “Kiss, Marry, Kill.”

The NFL star was asked to choose between Katy, Taylor, and Ariana Grande in an interview with Afterbuzz TV in 2016.

Travis chose to “kill” Ariana, and added, “Taylor Swift would be the kiss. Katy Perry would be the marry.”

Katy proved her former feud with Taylor was water under the bridge as she shared an Instagram post dedicated to the singer on Friday.

“Got to see an old friend shine tonight,” she captioned a smiling selfie with Taylor.

Katy also included a cheeky video of herself looking shocked at the camera while Taylor performed Bad Blood.

FORMER FEUD

The two pop stars – who became friendly in 2008 – were embroiled in a feud when Taylor hinted that Katy took her backing dancers from her 2013 Red Tour for her own Prismatic World Tour.

“She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me,” the Midnights singer told Rolling Stone in 2014 after being asked who Bad Blood was about.

“And I’m surprisingly non-confrontational – you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So, now I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it.”

Taylor failed to mention Katy by name but a day later, the Teenage Dream singer tweeted, “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing…

“If somebody is trying to defame my character, you’re going to hear about it.”

Katy claimed Taylor was the one to “start” their feud while reflecting on it in 2017.

‘TIME TO FINISH IT’

“Honestly, it’s really like she started it and it’s time for her to finish it,” she said on The Late Show With James Corden.

“It was a full shutdown and then she writes a song about me, and I’m like, ‘Okay, cool, cool, cool, that’s how you want to deal with it? Karma!'”

The singers decided to squash their beef in 2019 and reunited for Taylor’s You Need to Calm Down music video, with Katy wearing a burger costume and Taylor dressed as french fries.

Katy explained that she and Taylor wanted to set “an example” for their younger fans by burying the hatchet.

She said their feud was exaggerated online and that they are now “super friendly” during an appearance on the Howard Stern Show in July 2020.

“What I’m so grateful for is we did get to make up publicly and got to be an example of redemption for young girls,” she continued.

“I always wanted the best for her and now we can talk about the best we want for each other.”
