And the 58-year-old announced he is sticking around with TNT after becoming a key part of their broadcast team.
Miller often calls TNT’s big games alongside play-by-play announcer Kevin Harlan.
“I’ve been lucky enough to have two constants in my adult life – 18 years with the Indiana Pacers and 19-plus years with TNT Sports,” he said.
“Excited to be back and proud to be part of this amazing TEAM, let’s keep chasing history together.”
Miller was a five-time NBA All-Star during his career all with the Indiana Pacers.
He won gold in the Olympics but never managed to win an NBA championship – losing in the 2000 Finals to Kobe Bryant’s LA Lakers.
The timing of the contract extension is strange given NBA’s current broadcast deal expires in 2025.
But it comes ahead of the NBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis – where Miller played all his career.
TNT has held the rights to broadcast the NBA since 1989.
Miller’s contract extension makes it seem inevitable that TNT will continue to be an NBA partner when a new deal kicks in.

“We’re so fortunate to have Reggie as a part of our TNT Sports family,” TNT executive Nate Smeltz said.
“There is no finer ambassador for the NBA and everything we bring with our coverage of the league, and we’re thrilled to extend our relationship for many years to come.”
TNT also has Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley as part of their award-winning studio coverage.
