Actress Lindsay Lohan revealed that she proactively started talking to Bader Shammas when they accidentally met at a restaurant in Dubai.

In an interview with Allure magazine in June, Lindsay Lohan first told the sweet story of where her and Bader Shammas’ love began. Lilo said she met her husband, financier Bader Shammas, at a restaurant in Dubai on Monday night – where she went with friends and he went with colleagues.

I told him, ‘You look like someone I know’. He said, ‘Oh, I don’t know. Who is that?'” Lindsay recalled. The Mean Girls star and the Arab guy talked for hours that night. “And then I told him, ‘I feel like you’re the one I’m going to be with forever’. I’ve never been able to talk to anyone like that.”

The love between them blossomed from there and Lindsay had a beautiful, very normal love affair in Dubai – where she has settled since 2016 and without any paparazzi following her. After a long period of discreet dating, in November 2021, Lindsay suddenly announced the good news of her engagement to Bader Shammas.

Bader proposed to Lindsay while they were in Utah, USA while the actress was filming the romantic comedy Falling for Christmas. In this movie, Lilo has a scene where her boyfriend proposes to her on the top of a mountain before her character falls into a snowy mountain in an accident and loses her memory.

The two married in a private ceremony in April 2022. At the end of the year, she was filled with joy when she discovered she was pregnant with her first child with Bader Shammas. Lindsay held a baby shower in April in her hometown of New York and is eagerly waiting for the baby to be born in Dubai.

In Allure magazine , Lindsay Lohan said she had never been happier in her life. The actress found herself more emotional and tearful during her pregnancy, but she said they were happy tears filled with emotions in a positive way.
