Taking care of a newborn is a full-time job, and luckily, Lindsay Lohan has a lot of help. Insiders just dished on exactly how she balances baby duties with her husband Bader Shammas, and it sounds perfect.
Sources told Us Weekly that Lohan has a baby nurse (the ultimate new-mom gift!!) and that her and her husband split the remaining jobs. “They’re 50-50 with all the duties,” the source said, adding that they do it so “it’s not too overwhelming” for any one person. Um, yes please! There’s nothing more isolating than taking care of a baby all alone, so the fact that her husband is stepping up as a dad and actually hefting his fair share of diaper changing, feeding, bathing, and playing with their 3-month-old baby Luai is amazing.

Insiders also revealed that Lindsay “loves being a mom so much and has grown into it so naturally.” Motherhood looks good on the Mean Girls alum, who is also reportedly “in the healthiest, most stable and confident place in her life.” For anyone whose followed the former child star through her tumultuous past and drug and alcohol dependency, hearing that she is stable and confident now is so beautiful. We are so, so happy for her!
Taking care of herself is also important for the Irish Wish star. Sources told Us Weekly, “Lindsay cooks from scratch and is eating a lot of fresh, clean foods. She’s eating a lot of greens.” They added, “She also does Pilates and goes on walks and runs with the baby and Bader. She’s focused on being a healthy mom.”
Lohan welcomed Luai in July. A rep for the actress told Us Weekly at the time that “The family is over the moon in love.”
She showed off her coastal-themed nursery in Architectural Digest the same month, explaining, “I feel so peaceful by the ocean — I wanted to create a space where my little one and I could share in that feeling.”
It seems like The Parent Trap star is totally in love with motherhood and living her best life right now, which melts our hearts. Good for her!
