There comes a time in every mother’s life when their teenage daughter decides they aren’t cool anymore. That time has officially come for Gwyneth Paltrow and her daughter Apple Martin.

As demonstrated with Gwyneth’s latest Instagram post, Apple has let the world know she’s not cool with her mother posting unsolicited photos of her to 5.3 million followers, commenting on a photo of her and her mother on the ski slopes.

The picture, which is a selfie of Gwyneth and her daughter, shows the pair on a chairlift in full ski getup. However, Apple wasn’t impressed, commenting “Mom we have discussed this. You may not post anything without my consent.”

It’s a fair point, especially considering the millions of followers Gwyneth has, but, as any good influencer will attest, it’s all in the details.

Replying with “You can’t even see your face!” Gwyneth laid the complaints to rest, and considering the picture is still up, it seems she won this one. Sassy responses on both accounts — it must run in the family.
