When will the 2024 NBA All-Star Game starting lineup be announced?
Date: January 25, 2024
Information about the starting lineups of the East and West regions will be revealed on January 25, 2024. Information about the starting lineup will be announced before the two matches Boston Celtics vs Miami Heat at 7:30 am in the East and Sacramento Kings vs Golden State Warriors at 10:00 am in the West.
Fan votes will account for 50% of the points required for a player to start in the official squad. The votes of players currently playing in the NBA and the media will hold 50% of the remaining points.
The All-Star voting session takes place from December 19, 2023 to January 20, 2024. Each fan will be able to vote once per day. The player with the highest number of votes in each region will become the team captain.
When will the 2024 NBA All-Star reserves be announced?
Date: February 1, 2024
The reserve players for the East and West regions will be announced on February 1, before the matches between LA Lakers vs Boston Celtics at 7:30 am and Cleveland Cavaliers vs Memphis Grizzlies at 10:00 am.
The reserve players for the All-Star Game are selected by 30 head coaches of NBA teams. Mr. Adam Silver will be responsible for choosing a replacement in case the players selected for the All-Star are injured.
