Tiger Woods refuses to rule out golf return: Will he play again?

Regarded as one of the best of all-time, Woods hasn’t competed since April 2023

Tiger Woods hasn’t ruled out a return to professional, competitive golf, as he continues in his leave of absence from the PGA Tour.

He hasn’t competed since the Masters Tournament in April 2023, where he withdrew from an injury to his heel, but fans suspect that the 47-year-old could return to the Hero World Challenge in November.

There is one spot left to be claimed on the roster and speculation has circulated that Californian, whom has spent 683 weeks as No. 1 in the world, will claim the place for his own.

It is, however, worth noting that Woods hasn’t competed at the tournament whilst he’s been host since 2019.

The tournament, in the Caribbean paradise of the Bahamas, will feature 19 players and eight of the top 10 in the world such as Viktor Hovland and Scottie Scheffler.

It’s a casual get together, giving Woods a chance to test his skills and body, without too much exertion, against strong competition from around the world.

Woods has been sighted on golf courses sporadically since April, including acting as a caddie for his son, Charlie, at the Last Chance Regional and helped his 14 year old with shot choice and club selection.
